PROJECT SPOTLIGHT:

Converting Walmart 1452 in Charlotte, NC, into a full-service Supercenter was a complex and meticulously planned project. Originally a standard retail location, the store underwent a significant expansion to accommodate a full grocery section.

DHR played a critical role in this transformation by installing two Hill Phoenix dual-temp refrigeration racks, complete with rooftop condensers. What made this project particularly challenging was the need to bring the refrigeration system online in carefully staged phases—ensuring seamless operations without disrupting Walmart’s customers or store operations as work progressed.

The DHR team’s technical expertise was instrumental in managing the transition, keeping the refrigeration racks online throughout the process.
